Crowe Unless you are prepared to watch video clips, from 1-5 minutes, with poor video (Not HDTV quailty), poor sound (Not Digital quality). I was lead to believe I would be able to watch full length movies and TV shows, not trailers. What a laugh!!! Don't bite!! Don't waste your money!! Spend it on a Blu-ray player instead. 64 of 72 people found the following review helpful. Sadly a stillborn attempt at VOD by Sony. By Pasha Supreme When Sony announced the Bravia Internet Video Link, the concept sounded great. VOD on my TV controlled by the same remote and all native. BUT this product is nothing more than a dead-end. The content is lackluster at best and totally out of date. The video quality is no better than a YouTube-ish website and the sound as abysmal. Its such a sad shame that Sony botched this up. It really does not add up to a worthwhile purchase. I hope Sony learns from this mistake and puts a more scalable VOD system directly into their Bravia TVs Sony has updated the Bravia Internet Video Link, but I can not run the update until I update the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-32XBR4 32 "TV ... and to do that I need to call some 800 number. If you are looking for a VOD product having HD content, and seems to have a direction (albeit slowly at best), I highly recommend Apple TV 160GB. 34 of 39 people found the following review helpful. Better content mode by TS Kelly Though the price point of $ 299 USD is still disproportionate to the advantage of the recently announced addition of Amazon downloads makes this one more convincing solution. That said, if you already have Apple TV and / or a Roku box, you probably already have better entertainment value in the long run compared to this device. If Amazon offers a superior VOD selection than the current "Direct to TV 'streaming options, this may soon change. However, we all have to wait for the new VOD service launched for "all" existing users of the Internet Link (not just those selections), later this summer .... all 34 reviews

We bought a 40 "flat screen TV for a couple weeks ago and had to return because of poor sound quality. After much internet searching I found this Sony model, which indicated that it had improved the sound. It is no exaggeration! Sound quality is crisp, clear and good in every way. If you are shopping for a 40 "flat screen TV and be sure to check it out! October 10 people found this review helpful. In pictures: The picture quality is excellent RW, but I had some problems with distorted sound / distorted sound and image and not (LIP movement and voice) in sync. This has happened 2-3 times in the past month, and appears only when you watch streaming video from the Internet. Cycling power to solve problems. Hopefully Sony is working on a patch.... Main reason for selecting this model was that it would fit into the space available. All other brands/models would only allow up to a 37". While I didn't think streaming video was a feature I would use, I watch this more than Dish. The built in speakers provide good sound quality (tone, volume), relative to speaker size, and the 14' x 18' room size. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great TV experience By buyer bill The Sony Bravia KDLEX640 is exactly what we wanted for our small living room. The digital channels available (such as 10.1) provide a stunning picture that looks almost 3-D. Watching golf or tennis, the 120 Hz refresh rate provides crisp detailed views of fast moving objects . The dozen or more input ports provide for many types of auxiliary devices. We have a DVD player, a VCR tape deck and a Roku working on ours. I suspect this TV could do the streaming without the Roku, but I haven't pursued it. It can also serve as a PC monitor, I found an excellent sound system a bit lacking, so I have my Harman / Kardon speakers on my iMac and the problem solved. Besides the sound (which is actually OK without the equipment) I find no fault in the set. It's exactly what we expected and more. See all 10 reviews ....

Most helpful customer reviews 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Was a problem, but the picture is good by Joseph Brown, I bought this Sony Bravia for Sony to get Google TV earlier this year at Target for another room. The picture is good on this TV. After a few weeks, I moved the TV to hang on the wall and somehow came to lose the cord in the box. I called Sony repair the line and sent a free service technician in my area (yes they still have a local TV repair and service people!). He was firmly in 5 minutes. We connected this TV to the Internet, so we can download movies from Amazon and instant video. My goal is to Comcast (other than the base) to drop and only use Internet TV. So far so good. I must say I like Google Sony TV remote control a little better than the Bravia remote. Many more features for the Web and surf shop Amazon.com. Google TV has bad reviews on the net because of the distance, but I and my wife loves it too. The Bravia works very well for use with the music playing throughout the house Pandoracom surround our home / home system. 4 of 4 people found this review helpful. It looks great! K. Arnold This TV is very good and the price is even better. Built in WiFi makes it even better if you were forced to buy the adapter. The on-screen menus / options is very nice, and Internet applications work as expected. I welcome in particular the application of the worms. I post later if I have problems with your TV. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Good TV, poor customer service from television Mark A. Whitson is good: I bought this TV August 27, 2011. The price and features of this TV are well matched, and I was initially very happy. The installation instructions are pretty clear, and television has done a good job of pairing in my home WiFi network. However, the TV stopped working about two weeks after his arrival. Customer service is not good: A week ago, I completed warranty form Sony Online, which indicates that I had a hard service I have received no response. To get the customer service, a list of instructions for a phone. The website contains other specific for Bravia TVs. The waiting time of Bravia line had more than 20 minutes without a link to a person. Chat 24 / 7 on-line has had more than five minutes to connect to someone who could not diagnose the problem. After 20 minutes of chatting online with an average of four minutes between exchanges, I was asked to call a local service center. There was no mechanism to send to the local service center before you go through these various channels other. The local shop tells me that I have ordered a main circuit board, but it is on backorder. How does Sony have to replace? The part will not arrive for about two weeks. I think the delay only surprising in this age of electronic filing and overnight shipping and assume, perhaps wrongly, that Sony could have a portion of their authorized service centers more quickly choseIf work in television, is a good price. If not, the service is poor and frustrating. At this point, engineers made the service call, however, for lack of parts. For a world-class company like Sony, I'm surprised and disappointed. After the service call, I'll update this review. See all 13 customer reviews ....

Because this product is no longer 120 Hz wrongly marketed as 240Hz, I re-adjustment of the ratings. WARNING: turn deal possible on this TV. NOTE: As of 3/24/2011, I noticed the Sony Style website that they enter EX720 is now only 120 Hz, 240Hz is not announced. I hope this is a typo at the end of the Sony, but if not, it's a serious case of false advertising going on. I was just in the market to buy an HDTV 240 Hz, since the price is justified, and therefore can change the degree of satisfaction of this review. Before buying this product, make sure you know you can be a case of misinformation that occurs when the refresh rate. Update: It is confirmed that this is NOT 240Hz HDTV as advertised, it is only 120Hz. The rating is only updated because the false advertising and shows little improvement over previous models, which cost much less. One of the main reasons for a 240Hz HDTV for 3D is that your 120 Hz per eye when flickering back and forth. If the refresh rate on the TV itself is only 120Hz, this means that you only get 60Hz experience when watching 3D. 60Hz is what we are trying to get away from. There is absolutely no excuse for false advertising, higher costs for functions that are not present. Want to get a 3D TV, make sure that it is 240Hz or else you just wasted your money. If you have a TV but do not plan to use 3D features, this phone is ok, but there are cheaper and better option in that case. *** Update - Old Review: Sony Bravia 40EX720 is a decent 3D-HDTV. I was originally in the market for high-definition television in which to use as a computer monitor / screen games after Sony introduced its line in 2011, CES 2011, I knew I had to get one is the first thing I can say is that this TV is solid. I was very pleased with the quality of construction (a piece of cheap plastic on the back, but I have yet to find an LED LCD HDTV did not have that feeling). Unlike the previous series HDTVs EX, the notch on the bottom that looks gray in some images is really dark black color. That was really a disappointment for me as I liked the gray band at the bottom, as seen in some photos EX7xx. I love the menu system is a modified version of the menu 2010. The 2010 line of Bravia TVs made use of the Playstation 3 and PSP menu to the point where they were virtually identical. The EX720, and I imagine that all 2011 models, design PS3/PSP menu to choose a more simplified version. It grows on you, and in general I find it much more attractive and easy to navigate remote control is perhaps the best thing that has this TV for him. It has some keys that work better than you might expect. Button on the remote turns the TV into 3D stereoscopic 3D mode, another button, and off you go. You can do something in 3D you like the Bravia the 3D effect for non-3D content will emulate. Other buttons on the remote control includes a Netflix move quickly video over the Internet, and a key-HOME Qriocity very practical. Internet video works like a charm. I managed to get YouTube videos directly from the Clock TV and search for music libraries online, even if there is a (high-speed cable) was tad lazy. Connecting a USB drive with some short films about their work as well. The TV recognizes the USB device and then you can continue to access and you see or hear her. There is no demo built into the TV for video, but there is a song and a few pictures on the TV automatically installed no dead pixels. The lighting is also in full screen. Great black levels. Semi-glossy screen (a mix between a glossy.

Sony Bravia KDL-32EX720 To Ninjawithagun just bought a Sony Bravia EX720 local electronics store (not Amazon, as I prefer to make major electronic purchases locally in case I have to go back quickly and the exchange of a defective product). In general, television is good but not great. Here is a quick list down and dirty "in my opinion (IMO)" advantages and disadvantages: Advantages: - High quality LED side-backlit LCD - 1080p 3D high-definition capable, but with certain limitations - colors are vivid and contrast when you take the time to manually adjust the picture settings - Built-in 3D transmitter, no need to buy an external transmitter that allows you to save about $ 35 - 3D effects are very good overall, but better results can be achieved only by looking at 3D Blu Ray - Artificial 3D option in the options works decently and 3D provides an alternative to PC games in 3D without having to use the NVIDIA 3D drivers 3DTV Vision or play, it stops at 60 fps frame rate, without having to return to a (24 fps) 24Hz refresh rate - No Ghost 3D obvious, but you may need to make manual adjustments for the effect of depth - I needed to do this - HDMI 4 x 14 4 ports - Internet, out of the box - Swivel and 6 degree backward tilt - directly compatible with the Sony PS3 (should not come as a surprise because it is a Sony TV) - TV firmware can be upgraded, but requires Internet connection - TV weight is 25 pounds - very light and easy to move or wall mounting screws without worrying about tearing the studs in the wall! - Hot keys on the remote is very convenient and saves time digging into the menus each time just to make adjustments of certain features Disadvantages: - Not a 240Hz 3D TV, Sonyc Website contains the specifications of this model as "120Hz" refresh rate (should DESCRIPTION of the Amazon listed for this fix NOW TV) - If you directly in touch with Sony customer service of any model of the 3D glasses from Sony is compatible with the KDL-32EX720 to determine his site to provide this information, the representative confirmed that the version of the technology TDGBR100 / B is compatible with the KDL-32EX720, important to note the "B" Think of it as the "B" stands for "Bravia":) - 3D display 1080P @ 24Hz and restricted to only 30Hz? = 24Hz 30Hz = 24fps and 30fps, this is not a problem for Blu-Ray 3D (or watching movies converted from 2D to 3D) look, but it is not acceptable if you want to play computer games on this TV, part of the reason why I bought - it takes a couple of hours to manually enter the picture the way you want, you must go to the "Advanced Settings" to things like white balance correction, black level, the increase in Edge, etc. change - The price a little 'high for not having included 3D glasses and a 240Hz refresh rate, WARNING! The glasses cost $ 150 separately Oo - The power cord is connected to the TV, would have preferred a universal power cord so that it can be easily damaged should be replaced - The remote control is a bit 'clumsy and large and does not provide universal remote control feature as it allows the control of television unlike other remote controls that allow you to conrol different devices - a function of universal remote would be nice for me because I could use the remote to control your TV and my PS3 to Sony, not sure because Sony would not allow this other than making money from their customers ... no way! lol Bottomline: Depending on the intentions of what the main use of this TV is / are ultimately determine your final decision to buy or not. If you watch Blu-ray and 3D regular and like the convenience of embedded Internet functionality, then this TV is a good choice, but a bit pricey when you consider that you have to pay $ 150 more than the 3D glasses image quality when viewing Blu Ray's good y.

I'm using has a flat screen with my Sony Bravia 1080p, and my friend his own with an old 30-inch CRT TV (4:3), until it moved its flat-screen box. I thought of a device to do with built-in WiFi, but before you (n), I have some research online and heard buy (read) were horror stories about streaming via WiFi, that we say, somewhat less than complementary (seeds, disconnects, freezes requiring a reboot, etc.), so I decided to buy this device because it has no WiFi (why for a feature that I'm not I use it? to pay). I already have a Sony BDP-S370 (for use with a Samsung flat screen) and I love, I bought two of them, but they were not immediately available at Amazon, when I ordered, so I have this - I prefer to buy from Amazon for their return policy is also the BDP-S380 supports the "voodoo" And he has a digital readout on the screen transfer rate (in Mbps), which appears during transmission starts - both welcome addition! My setup took about 15 minutes from the moment I opened the box until I watched disc, Amazon VOD, Netflix (the only ones I have so far set). I have the BDP-S380 to my TV via HDMI, and my Ethernet LAN cable and everything worked (of course, I had to configure it to my Amazon and Netflix account, but it lasted less than five minutes). After going through the menu on the Quick Start screen, telling the device to me that there was a firmware update available, so I told him to do it and within minutes, is finished and off (usually to update the firmware ) My friend took a little configuration 'anymore, because he had never been before and I could not see what was happening while I tried to talk her through everything (from memory). He is connected to the TV via the (included-in-the-box), AV cable. Because he had a 4:3 TV, did some of the menus do not display readable, which is probably what has made things take a little 'longer. Anyway, we got everything working properly in about 20-25 minutes. One thing to note, I should mention is the following: all BD players produced after 01.01.2011 firmware DRM that prevents HD signals to use any output other than HDMI. For me it was no problem because I use HDMI because my friend was with first, everything shown on TV in SD (not really a problem, because that is all that can show anyway, and to use HDMI if you set your flat * : ^) I am very pleased with this unit (and is). The results are clear and solid, is its simple user interface, or forward and easy to understand, and their physical size, shape and appearance to fit in anywhere. Definitely a 5 star unit. ====== NOTE Netflix (15/04/11): It seems that Netflix no longer limited to the choices Cola now! Now there is a checkbox labeled "Top Picks For You" - And now you can press the "Options" from the remote control when you select "Categories>" will be presented with a list of categories you can browse and select movies! Yay! 30 of 32 people found this review helpful. Big Blu-ray player, however, had streaming needs the help of Ryan, I bought this on an older blu-ray, the commuinicating problems with my receiver, it was the first generation, and I could not wait to replace, but it still had some bugs. Have been playing back discs, awsome, audio and image quality will not improve. The charging time is much faster than with the older players. If you are looking for streaming, I think we have to give these guys work for a couple of years that the mistakes. Before I bought this I bought the most rated in the top of the line model, which is supposedly the best in streaming and I was disappointed. Sun I.

3D Technology Checklist This product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use the checklist below to ensure you have everything you need. 3D viewing requires: A DisplayFirst, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession. A SourceYour display may be ready for 3D playback, but you'll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system. 3D Content3D content--the actual entertainment, in other words--will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it's a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game. 3D GlassesFor now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered "active shutter" glasses, others polarized "passive" glasses. You'll need one pair per viewer, and they'll have to be compatible with your display, whether they're the same brand, or a pair of "universal" glasses designed to work across brands. HDMI CableTo connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality. If you want to get more information about 3D, shop our 3D products, watch videos, or interact with other customers, we invite you to visit 3D 101, our customer center about everything 3D. Sony BRAVIA 46-inch 1080p HDTV KDL46EX720 3D LED, Black By Francis Vuolo In a nutshell: If you are shopping for a new LCD TV LED 3D capable ... Your search is over! The Sony Bravia 46-inch model does it all. While the sound quality for such a thin frame, is an impressive picture quality of this 240Hz processor is not matched by any other brand. With Direct TV picture quality is sharp and detailed. Add 3D to the mixture and 5 3-D Direct TV channels are great with the right glasses. There are internet facilities, and many of the programs. This TV is the "total package! 15 of 18 people found this review helpful. Large television and M. Staples, I see the pores on the face of Sigourney Weaver in Aliens. Web interface is beautiful. If you want any kind of bass in the sound sucks ... get a ZVOX 575 IncediBase low-profile, high performance Single-Cabinet Surround Sound System and you are done. The virtual surround is nice for the voice, however. I use them both at the same time . Do not expect all of the widescreen format to a problem. Could have bought a size larger for all the black space that houses diff format, but it is expensive and was not even out but when I bought my 720th I paid $ 250 more elsewhere Argh. I bought the Bravia Blu-Ray simply because he had built in wifi ... wifi dongle seems to be in stock. Nice TV. Probably never use the 3D ... lol. Who cares. Delicious menu and interface. Amazon video service is pretty good too. Vids free for Amazon Prime members, rival Netflix. Netflix app on the screen is terrible. See all 31 reviews ....
